Hydrogen bomb' of revelations on 'vote chori' coming, Modi will not be able to show his face: Rahul Gandhi
Sep-01-2025

Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi warned that they are about to make another big expose with regard to the alleged vote theft amid the ongoing controversy over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar.

Speaking at the concluding event of his 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Patna today, the Rahul Gandhi targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he would not be able to ‘show his face to people after we bring hydrogen bomb of 'vote chori'.’ He claimed that even people in China and the United States were asking the Indian leader to quit over ‘vote chori’. The Congress leader, however, did not reveal which constituency he would target this time.

Cautioning the youth of the poll-bound Bihar, Gandhi said, ‘I want to tell the youth of Bihar, vote chori means 'chori of rights, chori of democracy, chori of employment’. Gandhi claimed that votes were ‘stolen’ in the Maharashtra assembly elections and alleged that his party had provided evidence of ‘vote chori’ in the Mahadevapura assembly segment in Karnataka’s Bangalore Central Lok Sabha seat.

Gandhi was accompanied by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Vikassheel Insan Party chief Mukesh Sahani, CPI (ML) Liberation general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, CPI(M) general secretary M A Baby, CPI’s Annie Raja, TMC MP Yusuf Pathan, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, and other INDIA bloc leaders.

While, BJP hit back at the Congress leader calling him an ‘irresponsible’ LoP for making such claims.
