L&T’s Offshore Wind business to deliver HVDC converter stations for TenneT

Larsen & Toubro’s Offshore Wind business has secured an order from TenneT, the Dutch German transmission system operator, to deliver state-of-the-art HVDC converter stations for its offshore wind program. The company has collaborated with Hitachi Energy, a global technology leader in electrification to deliver the HVDC converter stations. This initiative aims to accelerate the integration of large-scale renewable energy into the European power grid, particularly across the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
